The Recycling Market Development Program (RMDP) was created in the early 1990s in order to expand the management of solid waste by supporting the creation and development of sustainable markets for recyclable materials. The program is funded by a portion of the solid waste fee ($0.50/ton), that is assessed on every ton of solid waste disposed at final disposal locations in Indiana. The RMDP anticipates another round of grant funding to open in late Spring 2024. Now is the time to begin the research that can help you build a strong application.
